This book is not for young children but rather for young adults. It mentions a lot of drug use and abusive behavior. It talks about abusive homes and uses strong language throughout the novel. The teens who read this book will learn a lot about drug abuse and the way drugs will effect the loved ones around you. They not only struggle with their mothers addictions but there own such as OCD and anger management.
